New sensors and health features on Watch Series 8
Until now, there have been many rumors about Apple’s devices, including Watch Series 8, iPhone 14 series, and more. However, the latest rumors about Apple Watch reveal more details about the coming wearable device such as prices and specifications. The new coming smartwatches will have many features from sports to women’s health. Let’s check the Watch Series 8’s features.
There are many new details in the Apple Watch Series 8’s rumors. For example, the new Watch 8 is expected to have a new body-temperature sensor and features related to fertility for women’s health. On the Watch SE 2 side, the tech giant will probably use the same look as its first generation. However, we could see an update in terms of the chipset. The new smartwatch could get its power from the S8 chip, which is predicted to have similarities with the S6 and S7 processors.
Apple Watch Pro could have a few more features in addition to the S8 chip, body sensor, and women’s health features. It will be the best option for heavy-duty athletes like mountain bikers, hikers, and marathon runners according to the claims. It will have a distinguished larger display, redesigned watch faces, more fitness and health-tracking statistics, a large battery, and a low-power mode according to the latest rumors.
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg says that the Pro model will not appeal to all consumers because of its large display. He also talked about the price point of the Apple Watch Series 8, “The device should appeal to people who’ve coveted the also-large Garmin offerings. Apple has been working on this new watch for a while. I expect this watch to come in at least $900 to $1,000, topping the current Apple Watch Edition. For comparison, Garmin’s high-end watches cost between $1,000 and $1,500. Amazfit also competes in this category, though generally at lower prices.
